Connect sensor by a supplied RJ-11 (6P4C) cable to any sensor port “A1 .. A8”. Determination of the sensor type and connection will occur automatically.
Temperature sensor is built-in on a board and sticks out on the front panel of the unit for better measurement. Accuracy equals +/- 1°C.
The unit has two 12V 0.25A outputs (electronics relays). E.g. the appliance has the possibility to connect alarm beacons managed by built-in electronic relays.
Connecting CAN devices on a common bus allows you to collect data from the sensors with a large area, or from a large distance and to transmit them to the network. VT825 has a LED for CAN bus status indication.
Dry Contact Inputs
VT805 has 4 dry contact inputs. Can be used together with any contacts, for example with door or window contacts, circuit breakers, etc.
Extension: Modbus Or 1-Wire
VT325 has the possibility to install “VT85 / Modbus extension board” or “VT10 / 1-Wire board” extension (ordered separately).
VT325 has the possibility to install “VT85 / Modbus extension board” or “USB485 / RS-485 to USB adapter” exntensions (ordered separately).
Extension: GSM Modem
VT805 has the possibility to install GSM or USB modem. VT700 GSM modem is mounted and connected inside of master unit. It is used for sending SMS notifications and receiving SMS commands.
Extension: VT18 (Ordered Separately)
Board is mounted and connected inside of “VT825 / Monitoring unit”. Adds 8 dry contacts (IN), 2 loads (latching relays with LEDs indicators on front panel) & 12V DC power backup terminal. VT825 allows to install either VT18 or VT10, both extension can not be installed at the same time.
Using a built-in interface it is possible to add up to four IP cameras. This will allow to view footage from surveillance cameras remotely,
One USB camera (class Linux UVC Webcam which supports MPEG) can be connected to “USB” port. More USB devices can be connected to one USB port using USB hub.
USB Flash Drive
USB flash drive can be connected to VT805 using OTG miniUSB cable and can be used by the system for saving logs. More USB devices can be connected to one USB port using USB hub.
“ACT” – indicates appliance status, “E1” – indicates 12V “E1” relay status, “E2” – indicates 12V “E2” relay status, “ERROR»” – indicates error and traffic, “CAN” – indicates BUS status.
Chassis external ground earthing, to suppress electromagnetic interference.
Ethernet 10/100 Base-T port, provides a network connection.
The inlet uses 2A fuse (5x20mm) which can be easily changed.
